Our favourite spot in Nerja. You can clearly see it’s a locals favourite and we very much understand why. Very very friendly service, great, fresh food whether that’s breakfast, tapas or dinner. We visit here a couple of times a day when we holiday here. Please don’t change what you’re doing.

Mostly frequented by locals which is almost always a good thing. Very good tapas and service. Couple of minutes from the centre. Ideal for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Tapas selection with your drink. Very tasty. Usually I find the tapas a bit bland in some places, but here they had good taste. Friendly staff and also very clean toilets. Moderate pricing.

Cafe/Bar with Tapas and a full menu. This place has indoor seating and a terrace with weather screens in the winter. Dogs welcome on the terrace. Great value and good quality. Coffee 1.2€, small beer (cana) 1.5€ with tapas 1.8€? Staff are friendly and speak English. Busy enough to have an atmosphere. Mix of Spanish and expat customers. Recommended.
Loooove it!!!! Good homemade food, perfect place for drinks and 2mns away from the bus station. Very good choice of tapas. You'll pay a little bit more for your Tapas on the terrace..... So what??? The sun's, shinning 😍😎🍷
Brilliant bar to visit, Sergio and the team are great hosts, food is fantastic, tapas even better.....

Lovely place great food the staff and owner are very good hosts every thing was excellent can not fault this place Cafe-Bar El VELERO. We have been using the Cafe for over 20 years will always use this Cafe every time we come to Nerja.
Great service, friendly staff, excellent tapas, toasted sandwiches etc. A place you can kick back and relax!.

Good beer and wine. Great tapas in a family run no frills cafe bar. Very busy as inexpensive for what you have !
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, great food at great prices - would highly recommend this cafe.
